Campus Visit Guide
When researching MBA programs, applicants often wonder what role visiting campus plays in their chances of admission. An in-person visit is certainly one of the most effective ways to learn more about a program and to experience the atmosphere of the school. While visiting campus is always a good idea, it is never the sole deciding factor in one’s candidacy. The path to business school can be a long and expensive one, with many complicating factors. Admissions committees understand the strain that the application process can put on candidates. Whenever possible, though, an in-person visit is one of the most effective ways to showcase one’s deep interest in the program.
In our Campus Visit Guide, we explore these questions and more:
- Do I need to visit campus to be accepted to my target program(s)?
- What do campus visits typically entail?
- If I do visit campus, what should I keep in mind?
- If I am unable to visit campus due to geographical or financial reasons, will it negatively affect my candidacy?
- How else can I prove my interest to the admissions committee?
- What kind of online visits do schools offer?
